Christopher “Chris” Voss is a businessman, writer, and scholar from the United States. Voss was born in the town of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science and the John F. Kennedy School of Government with a Master of Public Administration. Voss is the CEO of The Black Swan Group Ltd. Moreover, he is a former FBI hostage negotiator, and co-author of the book Never Split the Difference. Furthermore, he is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a lecturer at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
From 1986 until 2000, Voss was a member of the New York City Joint Terrorism Task Force.
